BMDF already goes through an annual audit by an outside accounting firm. The Board of Directors of BMDF has determined that the organization needs to take one additional step in financial accountability. ECFA is the premier clearinghouse for evangelical organizations desiring to be open and accountable about their finances. BMDF plans to pursue ECFA membership after the 2007 audit results are available.
