1 Corinthians 3: 5-9

“Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each? I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither is he who plants anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. So he planting, and he watering, are one, and each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. For of God we are fellow-workers, a field of God, and you are a building of God.”

This passage reminds us of the importance of working together for the Kingdom.

There is a saying, “Many hands make light work”, meaning if we work together, we can accomplish the task more efficiently & effectively. Likewise, BMDF works in partnership with many groups. In doing so, we can share the Gospel in ways that we may not be able to do so if working alone. Though we have different tasks (one plants, another waters), God brings the increase.

Part of our annual meeting will include hearing reports from some of these partners, including, but not limited to the following:
  • Baptist Nursing Fellowship
  • Church Free Clinic Organizers
  • Send Relief
  • IMB
  • Global Consortium for Education
  • The “Doctor Luke” Project
As we pray, please:
  1. Thank our Lord for each of these partners & those who will be sharing from each group
  2. Give thanks that Baptist Medical Fellowship of Western Cuba celebrated 25 years of service during their recent annual meeting.
  3. Pray as one of our members is serving in Ukraine. Pray that they will be able to meet with & encourage some of the members of the CMA Ukraine fellowship with whom we partner.
  4. Pray for the upcoming mission to Peru. Pray for other opportunities to serve on mission. Pray that more students will see & respond to the call to serve (both short & long term).
  5. Pray as plans are being finalized for the annual meeting. Pray for the Executive board as they meet prior to the general session. May God bless John Witt as he will be installed as our new president.

Thank you for your time in intercession.
