As the weekend approaches I wanted to share with you five requests.

First: I have received information from the IMB that there is an urgent need for a physician and a nurse to join a team set to travel to Peru on a Medical Mission trip. Volunteers depart November 21, 2024 and return Dec. 1, 2024. The location of this trip is between 11,000 – 12,000 feet above sea level. It will require extensive walking and volunteers should expect temperatures to be extremely cold. Please consider your health as you pray about this opportunity to Go and Serve. To see more information and to register, please click here. Registration will close on Nov. 20, 2024.

Second: Randy Oliver will be leading a medical team of fourteen volunteers to Peru Oct. 22 through Nov. 2. Please be in prayer for this team as final preparations are underway. Please pray for:

A. Safety in travel

B. A movement among the team and those they are serving as physical and

Spiritual needs are addressed.

Third: BMDF Committees are being formed and are still short of volunteers to help on these committees. The two committees we really need help with are:

A. The Missions Committee: It is the responsibility of this committee to help us find opportunities to serve. Is this a committee you might be interested in serving on?

B. We also need additional help on our Prayer Committee.

C. Are you willing to be a mentor for a healthcare student from your area of expertise?

If you are interested in participating in one of these committees, please contact Bob by clicking on his name.

Fourth: Please pray for our nation as Election Day is quickly approaching.

Fifth: Several members of BMDF are also members of BNF (Baptist Nursing Fellowship) and will be heading to Louisville this weekend for the Annual BNF Summit. Please pray for those who will be attending the Summit (their annual meeting).

Praying that each of you has a great weekend ahead.
