On Tuesday, Oct 14, 2025, BMDF will be sending a team of 21 to work with Your Mission Matters in Cusco, Peru.

Please be in prayer for this team as they serve from October 14-25.

Prayer Points:

  • Please pray for Safe/uninterrupted travel grace (this team of 21 people will be traveling by air, buses, and other vehicles. They are coming through 14 airports. There are 43 ticketed flights going and returning, 42 checked bags, plus 21 carry-on bags.
  • Pray that all bags would be delivered on time and that customs would not be a problem.
  • Pray that everyone stays well (virus and other exposure through airports, 1000 patient encounters, etc.)
  • Pray that God provides opportunities to beyond medical, dental, eyeglass ministries to share the gospel
  • Pray that God softens hearts to accept Christ
  • Pray that the local involved churches/missionaries are encouraged
  • Pray that the team stays united, humble, flexible and everything done honors God
  • Involved BMDF students see the value of medical missions and uses any God given talents to serve/honor God with their lives
  • Pray that God is glorified in all that is done.

Congratulations to Dewey and Bobbie Dunn who recently received their “Nightingale” pins from Baptist Nursing Fellowship.

They received their pins on 10/11/2025 at the Annual BNF Summit meeting in Louisville, KY. Nightingale pins are given to members who have reached the age of 80 and have been members for at least 15 years. Dewey and Bobbie are charter members of Baptist Nursing Fellowship, dating back to the formation of BNF 42 years ago.
